@Waterfox@mastodon.social OK, I spent some time in Waterfox and Mozilla documentation and didn't find an answer: does Waterfox support the "file" URI scheme (as specified in RFC8089 and its predecessors)? If there is a setting to enable it I didn't find it, but if it has been removed I didn't find a statement to that effect either. (It didn't seem to be enabled by default, I just got an error).
