Boss called me a badass today.
I got totally fixated on an interesting side quest and accidentally solved in two weeks an entire class of problems he's been mad about for years.
We haven't even talked in weeks, he had no idea what I was working on until the solution showed up in his DMs unprompted.

Wish I could say more, but y'know, business. This could be a big deal for us though, and it could really help get us out of a jam. Plus it was fun and will lead to a lot more fun work for me.
