Just wondering if De Broglie wavelength can be rigorously derived, since I couldn't find this thing on the internet or not in a definitive manner.
Some say it was De Broglie's insight (which I know is true) in 1924 but was later proved mathematically using advanced quantum mechanical constructs .... Some say otherwise.
Does anybody know?
