@sundogplanets@mastodon.social @ddmgmgh@mstdn.ca very interesting, I don't think we hit +27°C yet. Yet again, yours is a very continental climate and Europe has a lot of mediating climate influence. I know you know, I'm just spelling it out.

@Tom_ofB@23.social @sundogplanets@mastodon.social @ddmgmgh@mstdn.ca Thank you for mentioning :) I've been wondering for some time now, how photovoltaics work (in terms of yield) in Canada's climate: I guess the weather is not only kinda unstable, but also more on the cloudy/dark side. And that PV does not produce very much energy (e.g. none today). I'm asking this because: After the failure of AMOC I expect Europe to have a climate that's closer to Canada's. And I want to get an idea of how PV will work out in that future.
