But this makes it much more appealing to join groups who may have diverse views on things where you don't want to get harassed about something. or want to be able to quietly leave and "disappear into the void" Also it lets me add a "hit me up on Signal" button to my website without exposing my phone number to the world - which is lovely for me. I get enough spam. 😂
