@Thebratdragon@mastodon.scot Right-wing thinking: Money given to the poorest in society to prevent them starving or becoming homeless... That's waste. Support for the sick & elderly to make their lives less bleak & minimise suffering... That's unaffordable. Tax cuts for the rich, subsidies & tax breaks for profitable companies to boost profits of tax avoiders... No problem. Expenses, perks & secret donations for the wealthy...that's sooo necessary. Who pays? The poor. Just cut their services...
