@analog_feelings@tech.lgbt maybe, but more likely the devs spend all their brainpower on the threat model and cryptosystem designs, so they have jack all left for usability etc. Now If I were the CIA, I'd watch their development and find holes in their threat model and cause relevant incidents to happen in other places so the devs can't move on from modelling or design
