@Faith@chaosfem.tw whoa. I find this fascinating. How did you deal with it? Did you increase hormone levels?
I'm a cis woman and 55 and have been taking estradiol and progesterone for about 6 mo.

@artcollisions@vis.social Nope and I was very surprised. Age 27 I started on Premarin and moved to patches three years later after surgery, effectively of 50 ug estradiol daily. Never any progesterone or other hormones and no change in dosage in over 40 years. Obviously my body produces nothing of anything itself sfaiaa. As to explanation I've none other than wondering if the body just does the flashes and sweats thing 'because it's time' and ignores the detailed history.
