I am quite curious if the #FreeBSD developers will have the 2026 funding success of #NetBSD in mind when it comes to a Pro/Con AI decision regarding their AI policy. Though NetBSD attracts a lot of attention right now, I assume in reality its only a small bubble that is interested in that topic. We'll see, I hope NetBSD will get a boost by all these events, their policy could be a great USP, especially if FreeBSD will head into another direction.
