When I was 40 I thought I knew how to walk. Then I started some Tai Chi classes. I did not know how to walk. It wasn't just the "Tai Chi gait" that I needed, I just needed to be more aware. The classes fell by the wayside, but some things did stick. I can honestly say that the classes have saved me from serious injuries when I trip or fall (which I do). You're probably sitting in your car wrong while driving too, I was. Timely article for me as I'll soon be rehabilitating after some nasty surgery. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/28/well/move/tai-chi-walking-balance-longevity.html?unlocked_article_code=1.PlA.v6KA.ytTchxCjjnL0&smid=url-share
