Good morning Mastodonians! A bit overcast, warmer than we've had, but not horribly so. Storms are supposed to come today. Over the weekend I spent some time with friends while hanging on the porch, and I bought some furniture....one new loveseat, and a vintage armchair, for the living room, and a cedar chest for the bedroom. Woo hoo! I love the idea of cedar chest for my quilts and blankets. Also ordered some bakeware to restock stuff that got sacrificed before the move...NordicWare, which is a) family-owned, b) made in the US, and c) reasonably priced. Stuff I've read recently has made me passionately anti-monopolist and anti-private-equity and pro-buy-American and pro-family-business.
