Son's overdue birthday party is today. We ordered fancy cookies from local fancy cookie shop. Local fancy cookie shop has apparently forgotten to prepare our order, store is closed, nobody answering the phone. Had to pivot to ordering fancy cookies from a different local fancy cookie shop (this is seattle for you). I should be enraged, and I am, but I also had the Lemon Twigs on in the car on the way home and uh, I can't hold seething rage and bubblegum 60s harmonies in my head at the same time, so. Maybe I'll play some RATM when I go put to pick up the other cookies and balance it out.
