@TagYourToe@mastodon.social They want to be re-elected and they want campaign funding. Do you think politicians should operate without any kind of feedback while in office? Am I misunderstanding you? I think our representatives in our government should also be praised for their good deeds but that doesn't carry as much weight in the world we live in. When I spoke with the operator at Dianna Degette's office, they reiterated that the Congresswoman has been against DHS from the beginning and has been consistently fighting funding of ICE. It was a congenial and productive if brief conversation. You don't need to call and be vitriolic. Just let them know what your opinion is and be done with it.
