it gives you a permalink that will show anyone the toot from the point of view of their own instance so no login prompt and no need to paste into search

@meganox@mas.to @fields@hachyderm.io @markloundy@mastodon.online @digitalbits@universeodon.com Does the permalink show the post from the POV of the instance of the person sharing it or from the POV of the instance of anyone who clicks on it? The former doesn’t necessarily solve the problem. The latter would be incredible but I’m not sure how it would work.
