hey appdevs, actualy, marketing types.. any chance, and i know its probably been asked before. but could perhaps not use MY at the start of your brand as an appname. or worse rename your app to that. I mean you spend insane money over decades to get your brand embedied into the minds of everyone then name your app something completely different. Its like your naming apps for toddlers. my first big book of dinosaurs, myvirginmedia, and myRAC.

@gerrykelly@mastodon.gamedev.place When MS introduced "My Documents" and all its smug little friends in Windows, I felt even then that it was somewhat condescending. I haven't changed my opinion on the matter in the decade or two since.
