I have learned the best way to remember how to spell restaurant restaurant is to learn how to pronounce the Spanish word for it, “restaurante”. If you remove the ‘e’ it sounds the same as it is spelled.

It’s funny that because I’m not a native English spelling ‘restaurant’ it’s actually pretty easy because it’s almost the same word in my first language. I do have problems remembering how to spell ‘beautiful’ for some reason.
