The irony about this, is things like transit buses, which are heavier than a pick-up and well into the territory of needing a CDL, typically have great forward visibility because they have huge windshields and are typically of a rear-engine layout so there's no engine taking up space up front; their front-ends are basically nothing but windshield. Also, they're typically lower to the ground for easy entry of passengers.
Pick-ups and SUVs at stock height, let alone lifted to crazy heights like is shown in that GIF, generally have terrible forward visibility meanwhile because the front-end hogs most of it up.
