@clusterfcku@mastodon.social Thank you. I did once keep a blog for years, then stopped blogging as I got to a "ripe" age and relied on Twitter for the kind of communicating I aimed at with a blog. When Musk took over Twitter, I wasn't about to remain there, and the day he took the helm, I deleted my Twitter account and looked for a Mastodon instance to continue what I'd been doing on Twitter.

@clusterfcku@mastodon.social @wdlindsy@toad.social hey, just wanted to say in case this might be useful. A great way of duplicating posts in Mastodon is to use their RSS and archive it. This wont capture threads (responses to posts) but will capture each single post. I archive my acct using Obsidian.
