Someone asked about the feeling of the Drumbeam's surface, and whether it was bouncing. The sticks bounce but I haven't played real drums nor drum pads, so I cannot compare. It feels robust, mechanical, natural.
I ran a test, first grabbing each stick with only two fingers and letting them bounce as freely as I could. Then doing the same but exerting just a bit of force. Here is a screenshot where you can see the notes of the left and right hands (panned because why not) and the velocities.

@icaria36@sonomu.club Cool to see more #DrumBeam users here! As an experienced drummer on acoustic and electric kits I can confirm the physical bounce is very well balanced and feels good and natural to play. No tennis ball or pillow effect 🥁
