@andrewg@mastodon.ie They sure af do. Look i'm not defending what IDF has become. They've turned into a reflection of the monsters that victimized them. WHich saddens me. I worked personally with the famed nazi hunter SImon Wiesenthal briefly HIs heart would be breaking now, were he still alive. I don't know why this pattern so appalingly repeats itself in human history, but the victim turned victimizer just happens with apalling regularity. It trandscendes race, gender, even ideology.

@andrewg@mastodon.ie BUt i was also very on the record that if Tel Aviv did unto palastine what had been done to them....The world would withdrawl it's sympathy and supprt, leaving them very much alone with hostile forces on all sides. Israel had a choice. Unfortunately Bibi took it and flushed it all down the drain. They'll be extinct as a nation within 20-30 years. UNless the USA goes full authoritarian itself, they're basically doomed now.

@andrewg@mastodon.ie Oh, and no. I absolutely do NOT fuck off. I'm a fighter, you see. For you I am but an incidental teacher of pragmatic wisdoms. For today at any rate. Though I may have been a little harsh in my opening statement. FOr that I do appologize. It's entirely due to me wondering how many people here are actual people. Not just....software agitprop on display. REal humans can get insulted. Robots? Not so much. It's become one of the few ways I can tell who's flesh & who's code.

Back when it was still under the royal thumb. We may have more in common than you know. I'm glad to see what y'all have made of yourselves. Much to be proud of. Nobody during the troubles ever thought they'd make it out, much less thrive someday. But you're clearly young, so such talk is just history to you. Its memory to some, though.
