Does anyone in #HamRadio land have a Quansheng TK-11, or Quansheng UV-K1? (Possibly the (8) variants) Could you confirm whether the annoying UV-K5 (8) external microphone problem exists on these? - i.e. the external PTT only activates transmit when squelch is on and no signal is being received; if squelch is off and you’re listening to static, external PTT does not activate transmit.
