@GottaLaff@mastodon.social once upon a time the federal broadcasting authority required all news to be factual and sources needed quoted. When I took journalism class in the olden days, unless it was an opinion piece to be published as opinion, even my views were not allowed to slant or color news. Things changed after cable tv.
