the #Canadian #CBC #news had a video on Bill C-2 which in their framing seemed like it was end of privacy for all citizens with privacy experts stating caution of such legislation. So i read the 140 pages of the bill thinking the worst case scenarios but that was not the case. read the bill, called Strong Borders Act : https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/45-1/bill/C-2/first-reading the Bill's focus is on detecting or deterring money laundering, terrorist activity financing or sanctions evasion.
