Tools that can help you have a clearer view of your finances across multiple accounts, visualize trends and spending categories, things like that - stuff that first party online banking websites often can't do or don't do well. These connections are read-only so it's not like you're giving them full access to your bank account. But the main problem is big companies like Intuit (and presumably OpenAI now as well) data mining your finances and purchases and stuff, so you have to be really careful who you trust. I loved Mint when they were their own independent company but stopped using it when Intuit bought them out. I sure as fuck wouldn't trust OpenAI with my finances either.
