I also got to plant the seed of starting a free bus loop in earshot of Lauren from Bike Walk East Bay, and mentioned they might check with the Emery-Go-Round folks who have multiple shuttle-bus-to-transit loops.
If anyone knows how much it costs to run something to take you to a ferry and/or BART, Emeryville knows.

@epu@mastodon.art there used to be a free bus line on Broadway in Oakland, it went from Jack London Square to the intersection of Grand and Broadway. My coworkers and I loved it for increasing the convenient lunch range of our office
