Trying to really spec up front a personal project like write out a project overview etc. Not really what I want to be doing with my free time but I think the outcome so far is already looking more solid than if I just winged it as per usual. Certainly helped to pick better dependencies already - the one I really liked would have been a giant pain to build with now that I see the scope of the idea. Ugh.
