Can only remember one song from The Waterboys. I was a kid when &quot;Whole of the Moon&quot; came out. Still love the depth and journey of that track. Was surprised to discover how much is scribed onto their wiki page. It&#39;s a novella.

@ewen@social.ewenbell.com I don't remember hearing it when it came out. Wikipedia says that it peaked at number 48 on the US AOR (album oriented rock) charts in the US. A while back I started listening to a lot of on-line streaming radio, including some Australian radio stations. Since they are literally half-way around the world, so I would be listening to the middle-of-the-night shows with far fewer commercials. I also discovered a couple Australian bands and artists. I heard Whole of the Moon a while back and bought the MP3. My wife is a bit younger than I am and she says she remembers the song when it came out. (I'm off to the read the novella...)
