@floreani@hachyderm.io yeah. i work in cybersecurity consultation for government entities and every policy etc i write on privacy and data protection guidelines gets 5608568 comments freaking out about how much work it'll be. and this is when it's to do with complying with present actual laws. heaven forbid they're asked to do better

@floreani@hachyderm.io also, the social media for teens ban is so fucking stupid but so on brand for a country that has a shocking amount of media censorship that doesn't seem to get enforced super uniformly so everyone kind of forgets its even a thing. i feel like that needs to be covered more. it's more than our government being awful with tech that made them make that social media ban move (not critiquing what you wrote - your scope was tech. i'm just generally speaking)
