@Dawn there's a few hrt myths that never get erased, probably bc they come from (flawed) published papers. the 2 year growth one comes from a paper that wrapped up after 2 years, so there was/is no data to show development after it. it's exactly like you said, there's no reason for our boobs to grow magically different when under the same conditions. (i wonder if there's proper research on bodies who don't need hrt to grow them. i never chased it to have an opinion on the research quality).
