@f00fc7c8@kind.social Thanks for this! I used to go to the Indie Web conferences when they were here in Portland. I was one of the early users of identi.ca. I'm a hard-core tech guy but I found the technology behind the indie web frustrating to use, so beyond putting a "rel=me" on websites I've never done much with it.
