Me: "The US interned people of Japanese descent during the second world war, and so at a far higher rate than they did people of German and Italian descent." Well Actually: "The UK interned people of German and Italian descent". Me: where's the block button? Yes, I know the UK interned people. Funnily enough, I'm from the UK and have watched the tv documentaries about the Germans who didn't go home afterwards. That's quite a derailment from my pointing out a toot from a prominent Japanese American who was actually interned as a child and is saying that he sees it happening all over again.
