Hey #fediverse I'd like your help and thoughts. I believe that the work you create in any software program should be portable and yours to edit anywhere, but companies lock that work up in proprietary formats meaning you have to pay their license to access your work. I think file formats should be open and I'm proposing legislation to help, customers and allow new companies to join the market.
