Please forgive the potential naiveté of this question, for I am not a tech person, like, at all, but are the tech overlords endeavouring to turn the internet into an AI wasteland *counting* on its obfuscation of verifiable reality to somehow further their nefarious goals, or are they just myopic dummies high on their own supply?
