I'm a lucky bastard as the temperature (first floor) of my house is only 23°C after 4 days of 35+°C outside. Our current house has one wall underground on the first floor, very efficient to stay cool — I'm kinda worried it won't be the same in our next home; very first world problem. Our previous apartment reached 27+°C with this kind of heatwave. Heat comfort should not be a privilege. I'm also surprised to see all these new houses that are supposedly more energy efficient — I'm 100% they are not designed to sustain high temperature, and global warming is not really going to slow down in the years to come; this kind of insufferable weather is here to stay 😔
