After a series of plot twists, my daughter is setting up for learning bass guitar next year. She had to test 5 different instruments (2 courses each) to discover different things and settle her mind, but she knew she wanted to learn the electric guitar. As she showed some ease on the guitar, the teacher offered her to try bass, and she loved it. But the last instrument she tried was the flute and she absolutely loved the sound and was torn... After some additional thinking, bass is apparently her choice, the perspective of playing together is appealing for her. And my wife might learn the flute in the end 😅
