We grilled burgers for dinner tonight.
Hours later, after the kids went to bed I went out to re-cover the grill now that it had cooled down.
When I went outside, our decidedly indoor (but apparently unexpectedly outdoor) cat ran like the angel of death was behind him from under a patio chair and leapt to the door, snatching at the doorknob.
So I let him back inside.
Anyway he’s by the backdoor meowing to be let out now because he’s an idiot.

@lorddimwit a biology professor friend of mine pointed out that humans have been domesticating dogs about twice as long as cats. I’ve decided that means cats are half-baked.
