It's interesting that the ways the training incorporates a lot of US cultural expectations. They are relentlessly upbeat about whatever you wanted to achieve. They won't argue with the boss although they will point out inconsistencies with what they're working on. It's only a matter of time before they carry guns. Since most of us are from different cultures, and the US had led most advances since before WW2, could this virtual cross-pollination actually be psychologically advantageous?
