Cheaper #Gherkins wasn't on my bingo list of #Burnham / #Healey micro-stunts. We seem to be in a political menu of increasingly small micro-dishes. 🙄 But it did trigger a memory of a rhyme circulated in my school days, back in the 17th century: There was a young lad name of Durcan Who was always jerkin' his gherkin. His father said, "Durcan! Stop jerkin' your gherkin! Your gherkin's for ferkin', not jerkin. #gherkin #Durcan
