@mbaudis@genomic.social @kofanchen@biologists.social Indeed, there's some privilege that I use: no young kids, live in center of Europe, have funding to pay expensive train tickets. If those of us who have this privilege don't use it, there is no chance to change the system. And many people are in a similar situation to me yet will fly. In this case, Lausanne-Glasgow is a long day, but just 1 day. So keep the flights for those who have no choice, but those who can should make an effort.
