Folks, if you think AI Slop is going to make software worse, I am very afraid to share with you the truth... the software you use IS ALREADY SLOP! HUMAN MADE SLOP! I will use these top apps as examples. Top Apps on the App Store: Youtube (347MB) Tinder (331MB) TikTok (851MB) Bumble (282MB) SnapChat (359MB) These apps download JSON and display/play streamed multimedia files in a list. THESE ARE SIMPLE APPS (well, they should be). The multimedia, streaming, JSON parsing, and list displaying capabilities are all built into the OS. There is no reason for these apps to be over 5, 10, 20, hell 50MB... yet they are all 300+MB. THIS IS HUMAN SLOP! NO AI NEEDED! 1/2
