@scottjenson@social.coop some people are excessive with content warnings, I agree. I think this varies by instance.
but alt text is necessary for blind users, it's one of main reasons I like it here. when good alt text isn't a standard, blind people are "chased off."

@lalah@sakurajima.moe Fair point on the alt text, we all benefit from it. Still, it can be quite a jarring experience when you join a new social media site, and you're greeted with a bunch of strangers all giving you the same advice with a varying degree of being annoyed by you.
