My 10 years old self would not believe the current state of dating and distrust among people in general. Erich Fromm described it in 1952, but in Europe it arrived much later. Also the lack of attention caused by smartphone and the almost disappearance of casual conversations on the bus, the train, etc. Sometimes people is afraid of casual conversations with strangers.
