Interesting, too, because I've recently joined the Linux crowd & krita's on my list with GIMP to add to my currently Darktable-only system.

@f800gecko@mastodon.online Oh I wish I had the brain for Linux! I would use that if I could. But I don't have the head for it :( You will love Krita! It is an amazing, wonderful programme that lets you just create ~ it is just a dream. If you ever get stuck with anything I'd highly recommend joining this forum: https://krita-artists.org/ A super helpful crowd who share their work as well as free resources. When I reported some oddities, they were straight on the case + it was reported and addressed immediately.
