@ineemio@rivals.space I used to be an F-Droid contributor for a long time but ended up leaving (long story, mostly frustration with project management and changes I found important getting blocked repeatedly). I ended up talking a lot with Izzy from IzzyOnDroid during my time there and I decided to try to help out with IzzyOnDroid. We now have a small team and I think we're getting a lot of cool stuff done (see https://android.izzysoft.de/articles/named/news-2025-08 and https://android.izzysoft.de/articles/named/review-2024-outlook-2025). So I just feel more optimistic about IoD :)
