@ExpiredPopsicle@vt.social I know when I first started using fedi it was weird to me how ppl had more favs and comments on a post than when u went to their instance rather than ur own, but then u learn that u havnt federated with some ppls, or they are blocked so u cant see it

@ra1n@pleroma.ra1n.digital Yeah. Wrapping one's brain around the nuances of federation is definitely a sticky point for new users. Also, having to be okay with doing a little extra work to get the full context of conversations like that.
