No meetings, no stakeholders need to be included, etc. Usually, the right approach.
Not because this makes me a prescient person, but because this is a retention strategy.

@bcantrill@mastodon.social @ahl@mastodon.social @oxidecomputer the other one is that people will say "oh, this is such a great architecture". I say, "Did they tell you to say that? It's ok to say so." So, this very free management style is interpreted as narcissistic, as if there is an arbitrary decider, but this is because they don't understand the business side. If the business side is any good, they know you are working on retention.
