@fubaroque@mastodon.social Haha, yes! I have a printed out page with the correct color coding in my box with cables, connectors and the crimping tool. I have loved doing it right every time I had to replace a faulty connector on a wire that had already been pulled through the house.

    @fschaap@mastodon.social #maybeyouknowthisbut It’s more important than many people think. The signals and their return need to be on the same pair so the twist can cancel interference. And the speed of the twists differ in a way that matches the usage of the pairs. So if you want optimum performance out of your UTP? Always use the correct colour code! 🥳
