Curious to realtime watch The Media pick up another toy. We’ve seen ‘spooky’ liminal spaces online for years. Then creepypastas. Then Exit 8 game. Now cool monster of the month A24s ‘Backrooms’ hitting cinemas this week. They’ve found a 20 year old, dubbed him a film director and Let’s Run This Shit Into The Ground. I’ll go and see it. We already had Severance. And Exit 8. What does this add or achieve? If it isn’t an advance I’ll kick its arse. #movie #film
