#ubuntu is basically the poster boy for shitty decisions in the world of linux distros.... it seems like they make it a point to always pivot to the worst possible option: unity, snaps, mir, amazon bloat/spyware.... etc. and now i'm hearing they are pivoting to AI next??? while this could be awesome (a small LOCAL llm model to assist/support troubleshooting), i don't see canonical going in that direction. they will climb into bed with one of the SV/VC clownshows ....corpos are gonna corpo
