A long time ago, I worked with some people planning out the layout of a server room. They said that no individual one of them had the whole plan in mind, but that they each understood their section together. They finished by saying “it’s in a RAID in our heads!” (Probably paraphrased. It was a long time ago.) I thought that was hilarious. When I got home that night, I repeated the joke to my then girlfriend and her best friend, who lived with us at the time. There was a long pause, then one of them said “your job sounds REALLY boring.”
